Jikiden Reiki® Practitioner and Teacher (Shihan)

Deborah is a Licensed Ecclesiastical Holistic Practitioner  and Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner and Board Certified Traditional Naturopath practitioner. She is a practitioner and Shihan (Teacher)  within the Jikiden Reiki® Institute in Kyoto, Japan. Deborah began her career in the banking industry and taught post-secondary education within the business administration and medical office administration programs for an Accredited Career College environment before accepting the position as Director of Financial Aid. While establishing Reiki Center for Body and Mind, Inc., Deborah continued to increase her knowledge with Complementary and Integrative care and continued her responsibilities as the Director of Financial Aid. In 2013, Deborah resigned her position in the corporate environment to put all her efforts to build and follow the Center’s Mission of educating and offering an Integrative Care system to the community. Deborah continues the path to bring the most true, in her eyes, and authentic teachings of Reiki, Jikiden Reiki®. The Jikiden Reiki® Institute was established to bring the “original” teachings of Mikao Usui and his student, Dr. Chujiro Hayashi. Jikiden Reiki® was brought to the United States from Japan and is without Western influence

Tim Troutman has been with the Reiki Center since early 2014. He is currently a Shihan Kaku (Assistant Teacher), registered and a member within the Jikiden Reiki® Kenkyukai in Kyoto, Japan. He began his journey within the Integrative Care System as a Western Reiki Practitioner and then continued to the Master/Teacher Level. He continues to be inspiration in his pursuit of additional natural wellness and is an essential oils Wellness Advocate. He is certified in Reflexology. He has presented at various wellness events and assists with coordination of educational and corporate wellness events.
